NOTD: Scrumptious Strawberries

Posted on 04:17 by tripal h
I haven't done a Nail of the Day, in a very long time, but since purchasing so many different polishes recently, I've been doing my nails quite a lot over the past couple of weeks, so I decided to share one look with you. This one I absolutely love, and it is just so darn cute! Plus, with nicer weather finally hitting these shores, after what felt like an endless cold winter, it's nice to have something summery and cheerful :-)

What They Look Like: Quite simply, this look is a red background, with two cute little strawberries in white on all fingers, except the pinkie fingers, on which I only used the smaller of the two strawberries.

Base Coat: For the Base Coat, I used ELF's Light Red Nail Polish, which I reviewed about a month ago. It's a really gorgeous colour, but effectively most shades of red will work perfectly for this look. The brighter, the better though I think.

Special Polish: For anyone who has never tried Konad before, I strongly recommend using the proper Konad special polishes, because despite what some people think, they're not like normal polishes, they're actually much thicker, and dry quicker.

I've attempted to use other polishes, including ones that have thickened, because they're a little "past-their-best", but I've just had so many problems with smudging, that I personally think that it's not worth it. Generally, if you have a black and white, initially, you'll be fairly set, and then build up a collection of colours, as-and-when you need/want them.

For this look, I used the white polish, that came in the Konad Special Set. I loved the way the white looked against the red. With some base colours, the white can seem overpowered, but I really felt the red and the white worked beautifully together.

Image Plate: I used Image Plate 55, which I again got from the Konad Special Set. The only time I have ever tried this plate before, was when I first got Barry M's Block Orange nail polish, and I attempted to do a similar look to this Strawberry one, but with an orange. However, unlike the Red, the Orange colour did not make the white picture look so great, so I've never shared it.

I've circled the exact image that I used, but to be fair, it's pretty obvious!!

Finising: I finished the look off, using a general, clear Top Coat. Konad recommend using their Top Coat, but on this one, I don't think it really matters. What does matter, in my opinion, is that you use one. I tend to find, from experience, that the image is less likely to come off, if you protect it with a Top Coat.

And here's a closer look. It isn't perfect, or neat, but I honestly don't think that it needs to be. I know a lot of nail artists will disagree, but imagine if we were perfect, you'd be out of your jobs hehe :) :

Tips: Give your Glasses their Sparkle Back

Posted on 02:44 by tripal h
Continuing the theme of glasses, whether you wear them all the time, or occassionally, cleaning glasses can be a pain in the royal rear! When I first started wearing glasses (I was about 12/13), I used to wipe them with a piece of Kitchen Roll, however, my Optician told me off for doing that, because apparently this scratches them. Obviously, I didn't want that. And of course, she recommended that I buy their "reasonably" priced Glasses Cleaner (I'll decide what's reasonable, and yeah, their pricing wasn't reasonable!)

I have purchased Cleaning Sprays for my glasses, in the past, and whilst I do genuinely think they work well, I can never be bothered to go buy another when I run out, purely because they don't get any better results than the results I'd get from using the stuff I already own. So, this Tip is more of a "this is what I do". It's probably not right for everyone, but I still thought I'd share it anyway!

What you'll need:

  • Washing Up Liquid
  • Soft, Clean Towel
  • Soft Toothbrush

I can imagine a lot of people screaming "Washing Up Liquid, are you crazy??" but think about it, we wash wine glasses with this stuff and they always (okay, normally) come out all sparkly, so what's the difference when it comes to your spectacles?

  1. Squeeze a small amount of liquid on to each lens, and gently rub it in using the tips of your fingers. Don't forget to do both sides of each lens
  2. Clean the nose pieces using a soft toothbrush (it's amazing how many spots arise on the bridge of the nose because the nose pieces are greasy!)
  3. Rinse the glasses under hot water (using hot water, rather than cold, avoids smearing)
  4. Using a clean, and soft towel dry them in circular motions. It's important to dry them as quickly as possible, again, to avoid smears on the glass.
  5. Notice how amazingly clear your glasses now are (Eergh! That just shows how dirty they were!)
  6. Done!
What method do you use to clean your glasses?

Debate: Glasses, cool or uncool?

Posted on 05:38 by tripal h
I know my profile picture might not show it, but I actually wear glasses permanently, and yes, this is a personal choice. I've toyed with the idea of getting contact lenses, in the very distant past, but to be honest, I've worn them for so long, that I think they've just become a part of me, and how I look. I feel like I wouldn't be me, anymore without them, if that makes any sense. Whilst I have never been bullied for wearing glasses, I've begun to notice, as I've gotten older, how few people wear glasses. And even those that do, don't wear them unless they have to. It's like we still haven't been able to get past the "speccy four eyes" era of childhood, and we still mentally consider glasses to be "uncool". But, personally, I think glasses can look great.

I just scoured three popular women's beauty magazines, and the only people that I could find wearing glasses (not sunglasses), were Tinie Tempah, and Misfits star Nathan Stewart-Jarrett. It's interesting too, that these are both men! I did, however, manage to find an advert for Elnett Satin Hair Spray, in which the model was wearing glasses, but rather disappointingly, they had no glass in them, which makes no sense to me. What exactly were L'Oreal trying to conjure with this image?

Another male, who has glasses, as a part of his overall image, is the wonderful Gok Wan. And, he's even currently promoting a range of fantastic glasses through Specsavers. But despite Gok's well intentioned efforts, I still get the feeling that glasses will always remain to be that little bit "uncool", or will only be part of a Geek Chic trend that is obviously going around, since both Tinie Tempah and Nathan Stewart-Jarret are seen wearing large glasses. But, why are glasses seen as "geeky"? What does that even mean?

Personally, I think more female celebrities should start making a statement with wearing glasses, and not just these geek chic ones, that in my opinion, are doing nothing more than bigging up a stereotype. Kids shouldn't be ashamed to wear glasses, if they need them, and I have come across so many people squinting at fast food menus, but when asked why they're not wearing their glasses, they get all aggressive.

Do you need glasses? Do you wear them all the time, or do you choose to wear contacts? Have you ever been embarrassed of your glasses? Why do you think we still continue to brand glasses-wearers as "geeks"? What do you think could be done to help change opinions? Is Gok Wan enough? Please share your thoughts below :)

Tag: My 5 Inspirational Celebrity Women from Childhood to Today

Posted on 17:44 by tripal h
I haven't done a tag in absolutely ages, so when I spotted this one of Joanna Louise's blog, I couldn't resist. I have to say that when I started thinking about this, I couldn't help thinking "oh god, I have no idea", and my mind just went blank. But, as soon as I thought of one person, three others followed.

Christina Ricci
I can not remember a time when I have not loved Christina Ricci. I've always been a fan of kooky, oddball characters such as Wednesday Addams and Kat from Casper (who I got my nickname from, believe it or not!), so it's no surprise that I like her so much. Although, I wasn't a fan of the blonde look she sported in Sleepy Hollow, she "normally" looks great, even in Penelope with her pig snout haha! When I was a kid, she was the celebrity I really wished had been my best friend!

Melanie C
I am not ashamed to confess that I was an enormous Spice Girls fan, right from the start, until the originally split up (wasn't really that interested when they reformed a couple of years ago...I think I've outgrown them now!). Back then, I always liked Emma Bunton, because she was the cute and adorable one. Geri and Melanie B both scared me a little (loud women scare me!!), and Victoria...well, she's just Victoria (what more needs to be said). Those four have always, in my honest opinion, taken the majority of the limelight, and Melance C just kinda floated around in the background, being a tomboy, and never really grabbing attention. That was until she went solo.
When Melanie C went solo, for me, she just proved, in my eyes anyway, that she was the real talent to come out of the Spice Girls. All of the other four had solo musical careers that were pretty pathetic in comparison to the fame they had as a fivesome, but Melanie C proved that she's much stronger out on her own, doing her own thing. And I still listen to her first album twelve years on.

Kate Winslet
I can't remember what the first film was, that I saw Kate Winslet in, but it was probably Titanic (for most of us, it's probably the first film we became aware of how incredible she is). Kate just oozes this natural beauty, not only in looks, but in how she is. And, I love the fact that, in the nineties, at least, Kate wasn't this wafer thin girl, like most others, in the industry at the time. Kate had curves, and she wasn't scared to show them. As a naturally larger girl, I think I really appreciated having someone in the spotlight who was curvy, and sexy and just amazing.
She's made some incredibly diverse films, from Heavenly Creatures (excellent film, Peter Jackson at his best I'd say!), to Eternal Sunshine etc.

Ellen Page
I first came across Ellen Page, at Kitty, in X-Men. However, it was Hard Candy, in which Ellen really got my attention. To  anyone who hasn't seen Hard Candy, don't watch it with a male, they really won't appreciate it, and if you have seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about. Let's just say it's kind of like Little Red Riding Hood, except she's hunting the wolf!!
Since then, Ellen has played some awesome roles, from kooky pregnant schoolgirl Juno, to the brainy "Architect" in Inception, and unlike some of her co-stars *cough* Michael Cera *cough*, she's never allowed herself to be typecast.
I predict very great things for Ellen.

Amanda Seyfried
I first saw Amanda Seyfried, playing the dippy girl, in the oddly superb Mean Girls, and it's incredible to see how far she's come, far outshining her co-star Lindsay Lohan (what happened to her...oh yeah, rehab!!). Like Ellen, Amanda is very much an acting chameleon, and she hasn't allowed herself to be type-cast in any way. Personally, I get bored with actors who just play the same characters, over and over again *cough* Michael Cera *cough*
I love the fact, that Amanda shuns the socialising aspect of her celebrity, and is a true profession. It's nice to have young starlets who are in it for the art, not the fame, like so many other wannabes that are bogging down our media.

I tag you all, to name the five celebrity women who have inspired you, right back from your childhood, all the way to today. GO!

Debate: What is Beauty?

Posted on 09:44 by tripal h
I've blogged about this before, but I often feel like a hypocrite writing a blog about beauty, when I don't consider myself beautiful, and I haven't really been interested in make up, until a few years back. But, then it got me thinking. Who said that beauty had anything to do with how we look anyway? Beauty is much broader than that.

The Oxford Dictionary definition states:

Beauty

noun (plural beauties)
1 [mass noun] a combination of qualities, such as shape, colour, or form , that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight:I was struck by her beautyan area of outstanding natural beautya combination of qualities that pleases the intellect.
[as modifier] denoting something intended to make someone more attractive:beauty treatment2 a beautiful or pleasing thing or person, in particular:.
a beautiful woman:a blonde beautyan excellent example of something:the fish was a beauty, around 14 pounds(the beauties of) the pleasing or attractive features of (something):the beauties of the English countryside[in singular] the best aspect or advantage of something:the beauty of keeping cats is that they don't tie you down

This got me thinking. Beauty? What is Beauty? It's a question that I often find myself sitting and pondering, until it gives me a really bad headache. Ultimately, beauty is subjective. No two people will ever be in agreement to it's true definition, and that my lovelies, is the true beauty of beauty. What I might find absolutely hideous, might be completely stunning to the girl sat next to me, on the bus.

Beauty, in my eyes, is not about physical appearance, or money, or even possessions. It is all of those little events, moments and actions that piece together to make us happy in life. It isn't the grand gestures, or the extravagances!

Right now, I see beauty in the Spring sunshine, and the sounds of birds singing. I see beauty in the feeling that having a decent set of curtains up, in my living room creates. It's a sense of closing the world out, for a little while, whilst I conquer my thoughts.

I see beauty in kittens, and when someone unexpectedly says "thank you" (annoyingly rarer than I might like). I see beauty in how people are pulled together, out of the darkness of war, earthquakes, and other man-made and natural disasters alike.

I see beauty in seeing a stressful project finally piecing together.

I see beauty in watching someone opening a present, and just knowing that they like it. They don't need to tell me that they do, because I can just tell.

To many, these might sound incredibly corny, but I'm okay with that, because we're all different.

Of course physical beauty fully exists, but I think it's part of something bigger. What is your definition of true beauty? Do you see beauty in things that other, perhaps, don't?

Beauty Must Have of the Week: Oil-Free Products

Posted on 11:20 by tripal h
I didn't get around to writing a Beauty Must Have post last week, so I'll get back on track with it :)

This week's Beauty Must have, is oil-free skincare products. The reason that these are a must-have for a lot of greasy-skinned people, myself included, is because we already have enough sebum in and around our skins pores to heat a small nation, we really don't need any more added to it. This means that a large majority of skin care products, especially for the face, are just too greasy for is, and this is usually because they are oil-based.

Now, there are tons of different products on the market at the minute, that are oil-free, but I have to say that I'm becoming a huge fan of the Simple Oil Balancing Range, which consists of:

Oil Balancing Facial Wipes: Unlike some facial wipes, I find these to be incredibly gentle on the skin, especially when using them. They leave the skin feeling smooth, and free of grease, but without leaving it feeling overly dried out.

Oil Balancing Moisturiser: At times, the oil-free moisturiser can be a little bit greasy, for my liking, especially when my skin is particularly oily. However if like me, you sometimes find that you do have more "combination" skin, than oily, then this is actually perfect.

Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash: This Exfoliating Wash is very light, and isn't bogged down with too many exfoliating particles, like other exfoliating washes. This makes it perfect for sensitive skin, in my opinion.

Oil Balancing Facial Scrub: I recently had very big issues with another leading brand of Facial Scrub, which even though it was allegedly designed for sensitive skin, actually left my skin feeling dry and incredibly irritated. Nevertheless, this one from Simple is incredibly gentle, and so far, hasn't irritated my skin, in the slightest.

Who is this range ideal for?

The Oil Balancing Range, is absolutely perfect (in my honest opinion) for anyone who:
  • Has oily or combination skin, and wants to reduce the shine
  • Has issues with sensitive skin
  • Is looking for products that are gentle, and won't irritate
  • Needs a product that won't clog up the pores

Tips: Bring your Nail Polish Back to Life

Posted on 09:33 by tripal h
One of my biggest beauty grievances has got to be that moment when you sit down to paint your nails with your absolute favourite polish (in this case: Rimmel's Blue My Mind), only to pull out the brush, begin applying and realising that it's gone thick and gloopy, and disgusting. It's annoying because you always expect to run out of nail polish, but you never do, because they always manage to go gloopy first!

But, have no fear, because there is a solution that works most of the time (please note, this method doesn't always work, but it typically does!). I can't remember where I learnt about this, but be assured that this method is not mine, but as I've said, it has worked on most of my nail polishes that have gone gloopy, so I thought I'd share it.

Here's what you have to do:

  1. Fill a mug with about an inch of boiling hot water
  2. Carefully place your favourite polish into the water. I don't know if it matters, but I try to make sure that the water doesn't reach the neck of the bottle
  3. Leave the polish in the hot water for a couple of minutes
  4. When you think you've left it for long enough, take it out and dry the bottle with a towel
  5. Apply your polish as normal, and you should notice that your polish is no longer gloopy!
  6. Admire your favourite polish, on your beautiful nails!
It's pretty simple really, but I really have to repeat that this does not work with all polishes, well it hasn't worked with every single one of mine, but it's still worth a try. Or, I think so anyway!

Eos Lip Balms

Posted on 08:58 by tripal h
Lip Balms and Me: I absolutely love lip balms. If I was abandoned on a desert island, and I could only have one beauty product with me, it would be lip balm every time. To say I'm addicted to it, is probably an understatement, because I think that I am actually incapable of going ten minutes without applying it.

During the winter, when the weather is uber cold and my lips tend to chap, I usually use a medicated one from Blistex (which I first discovered on a trip to Canada, and have been hooked ever since!), so when Spring rolls around, I am always relieved to be able to break out the fruity ones that are more for show than medicated or moisturising.

Eos and Me: I first heard of Eos Lip Balms about a year ago, when I saw You Tube Guru Michelle Phan promoting it. But, at the time, I hadn't expected them to be available in this country. A while later, I randomly decided to have a look to see if they were available on Ebay, and they were, but at that time, I'd just received some Lippy Puckers from the ever-so-lovely Anita Grant (if you have curly hair, and are looking for 100% natural products from someone who knows what she's talking about, you have to check her out!!), so I passed on buying any.

Role ahead to about three weeks ago, and I had found myself with a little extra cash, that I'd decided to treat myself with something I've never tried, so that I could review it on my blog, and I chose the Eos Summer Fruits Lip Balm.

What does Eos mean? Eos stands for "Evolution of Smooth".

Flavours: The Eos Lip Balm actually comes in five flavours:

  • Summer Fruits (which is the "original" flavour, and the one I picked)
  • Lemon Drop (with added SPF)
  • Honeysuckle Honeydew
  • Medicated Tangerine (which I may have to give a try next Winter!!)
  • Sweet Mint
Why Eos Lip Balms are so unique: The packaging is of course the most obvious thing that makes these so unique, because it just adds a fun and cute little aspect to something that most women use every single day, and I have to say that every time I use it, it really does make me smile.

What Eos says:

  • Long-lasting moisture
  • Shea butter & vitamin E
  • Smoothes on clear
  • New smooth sphere precisely glides on to lips
  • Twist-off top
  • Gluten-free
  • Paraben-free
  • Petrolatum-free
  • Phthalate-free
eos lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

What I thought: I love the fact that this is a natural product, and it is incredibly moisturising. Plus, the smell is just incredible, in fact it is so awesome, that I placed it under the boyfriends nose and he said that it smelt "yummy". I'm not really sure if I really managed to convince him that no, he could not eat it, but he is definitely a fan of this lip balm.

Price: I paid just over £5 (including postage) for this, on Ebay, but I've since discovered that a couple of British-based website sell it for £4.75, which might seem a bit steep for a lip balm, in a market where £2-£3 is the average, but trust me when I say that this is a great product, that everyone should try. Plus, I'm pretty certain that it will last for a very long time!

Where: As I said, you'll find a couple of fairly priced sellers on Ebay, but you can also purchase it from the Naturally Fabulous website.

Would I purchase this again? Definitely. I can not speak any more highly for this lip balm! It smells delicious, is so smooth and 100% natural and free from all those nasties that we all hate!

Simple Get Smart

Posted on 10:24 by tripal h
Updated 11/03/2011: Just a quick note to say that the Corrector Pen will be initially exclusive to Boots, until April 19th. However, after that, it will be available everywhere. That's my fault for misreading the Press Release :-)

It's not very often that I get excited about new products that are coming up for launch, in fact the only two things that I have actually been excited about getting my mitts on, since I started writing this blog roughly ten months ago, have both been nail products (Rimmel's Matte Top Coat and Barry M's Nail Effects).

Nevertheless, when I spotted Simple's latest addition to their range, I got very excited! And here it is:

Simple's Kind to Eyes Eye Make-Up Corrector Pen.

Simple Says:
"The new Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Corrector Pen, the first of its kind in the UK...which contains Simple’s award-winning and best-selling eye make-up remover lotion, is the ideal tool to easily remove eye make-up mistakes, even waterproof mascara. The Corrector Pen’s precision tip allows users to wipe away day-to-day mistakes while leaving the rest of their make-up untouched."
"The Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Corrector Pen is formulated with the vitamin goodness of Pro-Vitamin B5 to care for the skin around the delicate eye area. What’s more, with no perfume and no colour, common causes of skin irritation, and no harsh or unnecessary chemicals, the Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Corrector Pen is perfect for all skin types, even the most sensitive."
Why I think this product is going to be awesome:

When it comes to Mascara, and Liquid Eyeliners, I am absolutely prone, to making a mess. I am often known to find mascara marks on my eye lids, as well as below the lower lash line, which is incredibly irritating. Sometimes, I can manage to get to it using my finger, or a Cotton Bud, but I always have two issues with this:

  1. My finger, and/or cotton bud is often that little bit too fat, especially when you consider that eyelashes are so thin, so they're only going to leave slight marks.
  2. A cotton bud, or finger alone, is typically not enough, and I always feel like I need something strong to get it to budge. But, quite often, I don't have my Eye Make-Up Remover near by, and I don't know if you have ever tried it, but I don't find it an easy task, trying to get the Eye Make-Up remover onto the tip of the Cotton Bud.
From what I can tell, Simple's Corrector pen solves both of these problems, since it has a fine tip, allowing for precision, so I can get rid of those yucky black marks, without ruining the rest of my make up, which is really helpful when you're applying your mascara after everything else has been made to look perfect!

Plus, I am a huge fan of Simple's Eye Make-Up Remover, and it's the only one that has ever managed to get off every last trace of make up, without leaving my skin feeling like it's being ripped out. And, of course, since my skin is oily, I love the fact that their remover isn't in the slightest bit greasy.

But, don't go racing out to buy this product, just yet.

The Simple Eye Make-Up Remover Corrector pen, goes on sale,  on March 23rd (my Nana's birthday!!) exclusively from Boots, and will be available for a very limited period of time, until April 19th.

It will be priced at £4.99, and I can not wait to get hold of this product, from a company that I genuinely trust.

What do you guys think of this product? Do you think it'll work? Do you think it will solve a lot of problems? In fact, do you think that Simple will succeed in their mission to create an absolute make-up bag must have out of this item? And, what do you think about it only being available for a limited time-period, exclusively to one chain? Too restricting? And, okay I shall stop with the questioning :D

The Hottie and the Nottie: March

Posted on 04:09 by tripal h
Happy March my lovelies,

I know we're a few days into March now, but here's this months hottie and the nottie, with a sneaky peek into what I'm really loving, and I am really hating this month. Enjoy.

Loving

Skins. I've been watching Skins since the very beginning (and I sometimes think that I'm getting way too old to be watching it now), but I am really enjoying the current series. I wasn't really keen on the second "generation" cast, so I wasn't really that hopeful about the latest batch, but I have to say, that it has really surprised me with how much I'm loving it.

It's funny, because even the characters that are complete bitches are likeable, because they're interesting, and the personal episodes let you kind of understand why they're the way they are.

The only thing I don't particularly like about Skins, is how exagerrated the parents are, which was once kinda fun, is now a little irritating.

Eos Lip Balms. To all of you, on here and on Twitter, who knew that what I showed you was an Eos Lip Balm, yay! I've been meaning to try this lip balm out for months, after Michelle Phan promoted them on a couple of her You Tube video posts, but for a while, I couldn't find anywhere in the UK that sold it. And, eventually I forgot all about them anyway!

Nevertheless, last week, I ordered one from a seller on Ebay, and I won't say too much about it, since I'm hoping to have a review up soon, but this has got to be the cutest lip balm in existence, and when Eos say that they wanted to create a lip balm that made people smile, well they definitely succeeded!

Hating

Glee. Well, it's not that I'm hating Glee, as such, but overall, I can't help feeling that this season seems to be seriously lacking something that it had last year. Every week, it just seems to be an episode with various scenes that are linked together by a certain theme, with no real story. And it's getting a bit boring. I preferred it when the choice of songs reflected a part of the story, and now it's just not like that.

I want the story to come back, which was ultimately the heart and soul of what made this show great, well alongside the great songs, but you really need both together to create this amazing programme.

Spam Emails. Seriously, this week I have:

  • Won some European lottery (twice) that funnily enough I don't remember entering,
  • Been chatted up by slutty lesbians,
  • Been asked to commit money laundering, and to promote very dodgy-sounding slimming pills
  • Apparently, someone has viewed my Match.com profile, even though I don't actually have one.
  • I need to update my bank details with Lloyds TSB, even though I don't bank with them, and never have.
  • I've been offered a job, and Viagra!

Mini Hiatus and a little Game

Posted on 02:49 by tripal h
Hey guys,

I'm really sorry that I haven't written a blog over the past couple of days. Work has got really busy this week, so obviously work always has to come before my blog (otherwise the bills don't get paid!). But, I've got loads of lovely things coming up, hopefully over the weekend, but if not, definitely early next week.

Just a quick update on the nails. I'm on Day Seven (I think) of my 14-Day Nail Rescue Challenge, and whilst my nails are definitely feeling a great deal harder than they did this time last week, I have managed to break a nail. It was the pinkie finger on my left hand, which let's face it, our pinkie finger nails must be the weakest anyway, right? Since they're the smallest? I don't obviously know that, just making an assumption :) Also, the naikls on my right hand are growing beautifully (well, to my standards anyway, which are probably lower than most peoples haha!), but the left hand nails never seem to grow as quickly as the ones of the right. I've noticed that ever since I started doing Konad nail art last year, and I was conciously trying to grow them just for that purpose. I wonder why...any ideas? But, tomorrow I will be taking the strengthener off, and starting the second week, so we'll see.

In other news, I have lots of reviews coming up: I still have several E.L.F products to review, including the liquid eyeliner, cream eyeliner, another nail polish and I think that's it! I also have a Rimmel Base Coat, which is obviously going to have to wait for now, and a Rimmel Glam'Eyes eyeliner. Oh, and the boyfriend is currently in the process of testing out the lovely Gilette Fusion Proglide Razor, that I oh-so-kindly bought him all in the name of reviewing! But, the final thing that I'm most exciting about reviewing, I'm not actually doing to tell you what it is. Why? Because, I'm actually quite curious to know how many people have come across this item, which I think is super cute (whoa, how American did I just sound??).

So, does anyone know what this is?
