Amazingly, the most common cause isn't necessarily your diet or stress-levels (although these are both important factors that you should always investigate!). It is in fact, the common household....
Hair Brush!!!
Think about all the products that you use on your hair:
- Hair Spray
- Styling Gel/Creams
- Straightening Products
- Hair Serum
- Hair Mousse
- Cigarette Smoke
- Vehicle Exhaust fumes
- Perfumes
- Air Fresheners
- Etc, etc
What can you do to stop this?
The solution is actually incredibly easy to combat. Simply make sure that you regularly clean your hair brushes and combs, removing everything that could be on them. Using your normal shampoo should be perfect, as you use that to clean your hair anyway, so once or twice a week, make sure to give it a quick wash.
If, however, you still find that your hair still seems to be getting greasy quicker, it is always useful to consider altering your diet, or perhaps even taking a break, if you are feeling particularly stressed.
