For a long time now, I've honestly not had a clue what shape I am "officially", and I've not really given it that much thought if I'm being frank. So, when this popped up, I have to confess that I was curious. I definitely wasn't enticed by the offer of £5 off...I mean, seriously? £5? That would probably only get me a collar of one of their tops!!
What Shape Am I?
I've always known that I have smallish boobs, and I'm quite wide across the bum and hips but to be honest, I've just assumed the frame of mind that I'm not really any shape specifically, I'm just this big huge shapeless blob. But, when I don't really know what my shape is, it's hard to know how to dress right? Therefore, it is definitely beneficial to know what your shape is.
"Officially", there are four body shapes that most women fit into, which you can see in the image below, taken from the Evans website:
So, this campaign that Evans are doing, is really to find out what shape women are, which is great if you already know what shape you are, but what about those of us who haven't got a clue? Well, this is the bit that I really wanted to share with you lovely ladies, because you can actually find out what shape you are, as part of this campaign.
First of all, click here, and you'll be taken to a page with the above image on it. On that screen, you'll see the following screen, and you need to click the button as shown:
Clicking that button, will take you to a page that asks you to measure yourself. You'll need to measure your Bust, Waist and Hips. but, don't worry if you don't know where exactly to measure, because the illustration and write-up pretty much explains everything that you need to know:
Click "Find My Shape" and BA-DA-BOOM! It will tell you your body shape. Pretty neat huh?
But, the aspect of this that intrigued me the most was the page after this. I was honestly expecting nothing more than them to tell me my body shape, which is cool, that's all I was looking to find out. But, the information didn't stop there, because it went on to tell me what I should and shouldn't be wearing for my body shape.
I have to admit that it was really nice to read that I'm doing fairly okay for my body shape. But there were a few things in there that I didn't know, sot hat was really great.

Do you already know, or will you be using the Evans website to find out?
*Note: I know Evans is a plus-size shop, but even if you aren't, this feature is still useful :)*
*I am in no way affiliated with Evans, and I was not asked to share this information. I blogged because I found it interesting!*
