Tag: Getting to Know You

I'd intended to do my Tag Challenge today (A Photo of me taken over 10 years ago), but I diplomatically decided that I wouldn't use the picture I chose in it's current state, so whilst I edit it, I decided to do this one, from Dottie K's blog instead. And for a change, this one is actually beauty related!!

1. What's your favourite make up brand and why?

Without question Urban Decay. Their Eyeshadow palettes are gorgeous, and really pigmented. And their Eyeshadow Primer is just a make up bag essential!!

2. How many nail polishes do you own?

16 regular polishes, 1 Top Coat and 7 Konad Special Polishes.

Amazed I don't have more, but I have trouble choosing a colour just with these ones already!!

3. What is your greatest achievement in life?

My Creative Writing and Film Studies degree, and starting out as a Freelance Writer.

4. What job did you want to do when you were a kid?

I think I changed my mind as much as I changed my hair colour at uni!!

Actress. Hairdresser. Writer. Historian. Teacher are probably the main ones!!

5. Do you have any other hobbies, apart from blogging?

Making jewellery. Unfortunately it's proven to be quite expensive, so I only really make anything for special occasions.

6. What's your idea of a perfect weekend?

Saturday - Getting up early, shopping, breakfast at Weatherspoons, night out

Sunday - Lie in, watch rubbish films on TV under the duvet all afternoon

7. What's your favourite item of clothing?

My new top/dress from New Look. It is not me at all, but I really love it.

8. What's your biggest beauty problem and what do you do/use to combat it?

Oily skin, definitely. I hate it so much!! But, I combat it by using oil-free and mineral-based products to help balance the sebum, without drying my skin out.
